Glan Yr Afon / Riverside
The Riverside Hotel This community owned pub, known as the The Glan Yr Afon, is the closest pub/restaurant to the house. In fact, you can get there on foot from the house in less than an hour—a pleasant downhill stroll. The uphill walk back may take longer, of course, but perhaps you will be looking for a way to burn off the Welsh rarebit and ales you enjoyed at Glan Yr Afon?

Ynyshir Restaurant & Rooms
There is excellent food to be had at this luxurious Michelin Starred and Wales' only 4 AA Rosettes country house hotel near Borth. You will pay a bit more for your meal, but the fresh lobster and crab from Cardigan Bay are worth it, and Chef Gareth Ward supplements the light, fresh menu with foraged ingredients like wild mushrooms and elderflower. Visit for lunch and try delicious food for a bit less. After lunch you may wish to stop at the Dyfi Osprey Project next door
